Ember is an AI-powered dating assistant application that provides conversation suggestions and advice for various dating scenarios. The service is provided "as is" for entertainment and assistance purposes only.

BETA Notice: Ember is currently in BETA testing. The service is provided "as-is" and may contain bugs or errors. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time. Features may change without notice.

User Discretion: Always use your own judgment when communicating with others. You are solely responsible for your actions and communications.

5. Privacy and Data

Your use of Ember is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you consent to our collection and use of data as described in the Privacy Policy. Do not share sensitive personal information, PII, or confidential data through the app.

Data Management: You can manage your data directly in the app. Chats are automatically deleted after the 15th item in the grid list, and you can also delete them manually at any time. Scheduled calendar dates are automatically deleted 1 day after the current date (meaning after the date has passed), and you can also delete them manually at any time. For complete data deletion, visit the Account Settings page or contact us.

5.1 Subscriptions and Billing

Subscription purchases, billing, and account management are handled by the Apple App Store (and, when available, Google Play). Subscriptions auto‑renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device Account Settings. Prices may vary by region and are subject to change.

5.2 Trials and Refunds

If a free trial is offered, any unused portion will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Refunds are governed by the respective app store’s policies. We do not process refunds directly.

All content, features, and functionality of Ember, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

Usage Limits: The service enforces daily usage limits to ensure fair access and prevent abuse. These limits may vary by subscription tier and are subject to change.

Usage Counting: Each screenshot upload includes a text response generated directly after the upload, which counts as 1 usage for the screenshot upload and 1 usage for the text response (2 total usages). Each standalone text response counts as 1 usage.

Payment Terms: Payment terms, subscription details, billing information, and refund policies will be added when payment integration is complete. Current usage limits are for BETA testing purposes and may change when subscriptions become available through the App Store and Google Play Store.

By using Ember, you consent to receive push notifications on your device. Notifications may include:

You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings. Disabling notifications may affect your ability to receive important updates about your account, scheduled dates, and subscription status.

To send notifications, we collect and store a push notification token (device-specific identifier) associated with your account. This token is required for notification delivery and is processed according to our Privacy Policy.
